Stretching 2.1 kilometers from the iconic Giant Wild Goose Pagoda to the historic Tang city wall, the Great Tang All Day Mall is a large-scale cultural and commercial pedestrian zone that reimagines the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty. Co-designed by SED-IA and Nikken Sekkei, the project blends Tang-style architecture with contemporary public space design. Its North Plaza, home to Asia’s largest musical fountain, serves as the cultural anchor of the district.
ubsequent phases—including the South Plaza and Furong Garden—combine historical motifs with modern aesthetics, creating vibrant, internationally appealing public spaces. Today, the district stands as a national model for pedestrianization and urban cultural renewal in China.
